Coach

Throughout my professional career, I’ve found great fulfilment in sharing my experience and passion for performance. I’ve led workshops for young people, provided bespoke coaching for aspiring drama school and National Youth Theatre applicants, and offered professional guidance in audition technique and self-tape preparation. I have taught as a guest lecturer at Mountview, and I have been teaching for LAMDA exams at Latymer Upper School for 11 years, where I’ve supported hundreds of students in achieving outstanding results.

My approach is rooted in Stanislavski’s principles, with a particular enthusiasm for classical text. I’m especially passionate about demystifying the perceived barriers of archaic language - because, at its heart, it’s always about storytelling. Captivating an audience is the ultimate goal, and that’s precisely what I’m here to help you do.

My cultural and linguistic background also enables me to also offer coaching in Serbian, Croatian, and Bosnian, and I’m able to offer coaching to those outside of the Arts, who are looking to gain more confidence as public speakers.

Coaching is offered face-to-face or online via Zoom.

I honestly don’t know how I would’ve gotten into drama school without Maya.

She helped me prepare for my audition, and thanks to her, I didn’t just perform the texts, I understood them. She gave me the structure, the tools, and most importantly, the confidence to approach both classical and contemporary material with clarity and truth.

As a non-native English speaker, I used to worry that I had to change something in myself to “fit” the character, but Maya showed me that I could lean into who I am, bring my full self into the work, and still honour the text fully. That changed everything.
