WRITER

Just an Ordinary Whore, co-written by Maya Barcot.
My screenwriting journey began through acting. I wanted to write about characters that I could see myself playing. I felt that women in their 40s and beyond can and should be better represented in TV and Film. So I decided to put these women at the forefront of my writing.
To honour my Eastern-European heritage, I wrote a feature inspired by my great-grandmother’s life as an actress, mother and refugee during WW2. This family story allowed me to explore the lives of fearless, vulnerable, and eccentric women.
The pandemic accelerated my writing process. What started as a few sketches on YouTube about a character called Debbie - a housewife from Essex with ambitions to transcend her day-to-day existence, developed into a 6-part comedy series.
These original screenplays are fully developed and currently seeking production opportunities. Each project represents a unique narrative vision and is ready for the next phase of development.
I have aspirations to continue writing projects that highlight strong, female characters, exploring both historical and contemporary issues.
This dual role as writer and performer has enriched my artistic path.
